Photography enthusiasts
Are you interested in photography? Either as a casual snapper, or as a more seasoned enthusiast?
If so, you may be interested in our new venture. We are currently hosting weekends specifically aimed at photographers. We will be offering informal tour packages that will take in photographic highlights in and around Rotorua. Using our pre-programmed Satnav, you will spend the day sightseeing, with a packed lunch provided by us. At the end of your day, come back to the Lodge and relax with some afternoon tea.
We will then provide you with the opportunity to edit and process your photos through the latest versions of Lightroom & Photoshop CC on a 27 inch high resolution AppleMac. Get the chance to print one complimentary A3+ max (or size of your choice) fine print on a Professional Canon Pro-10s printer using state of the art pigment inks. We'll give you basic instruction if you wish, together with some hints on how to make the most out of your photography. Following this, dinner will be served, with wine, and you may chat about photography all evening if you like!
Please note, these will not be formal, professional teaching courses. More, an opportunity to have some fun, explore your photography in more depth and share your thoughts and philosophies with like-minded people.
No photographic skills or knowledge are needed. We will talk to you at the time of your booking and tailor the package to meet your requirements.

The cost of a two night stay with breakfast, including a photographic itinerary, a complimentary packed lunch (optional), a three course dinner for two with wine (on your second evening), together with basic guidance in processing your photos, is:
$995 for a couple sharing. (Minimum two night stay for two adults. Maximum four people).
Your booking can be secured with a 20% deposit. Our usual cancellation conditions apply.

A brief bio...
He now works in Medical Imaging and has recently been instrumental in producing the 2015 corporate calendar photos for The Radiology Group here in New Zealand, blending colour with x-ray images of familiar items in unusual settings.
Moving from the traditional darkroom to software based image manipulation has been a revelation, and Andrew is excited about sharing his skills and enthusiasm with other photographers!
